Clean-Up on Saturday, March 1

Thanks to all the volunteers that came out on March 1st for our first monthly Volunteer Cleanup! We removed 15 bags of trash from our streets!

Join us on April 5th for the PHilly Spring Cleanup! Mayor Nutter and the City of Philadelphia will be coordinating a citywide cleanup that day, coinciding with Passyunk Square’s regularly scheduled cleanup.

    Speaking about cleanups, a couple of crazy questions:
    1. Can local school kids be arranged to participate in a cleanup? They seem to be ones throwing out most of the trash in the street.
    2. Would some sort of “adopt a garbage can” idea on street corners make sense?
