GOLD STAR PARK Clean-Up
Saturday, January 22nd
10am to 11am

One power hour of cleaning (pending any major snow storm).
With intermittent trash pick up during the winter months, it would be a big help if neighbors could take their dog waste home (particularly when the trash is overflowing). THANKS in advance!
*held every monthly on the 4th Saturday of the month

Beautification and Trash & Recycling and Trees11 Jan 2011 12:51 pm

Thanks to everyone who brought their Christmas tree to be recycled into chips for local parks and gardens. In all, we chipped around 450 trees and raised $1200 that will be divided up among the 6 South Philadelphia organizations that coordinated the event. The proceeds will go towards additional greening projects in the neighborhood.
