The following is reprinted from an email we received about this program. Note these workshops are not in the PSCA area but close enough that we thought it might be worth passing along.

A key educational and outreach component of the Preservation Alliance’s Neighborhood Preservation Programs, the Homeowner Workshops have been very well received, with over 2,400 people having taken advantage of the free programs since they were introduced in the Fall of 2006. Workshop attendees have the opportunity to learn from a broad variety of preservation professionals on a range of topics including: working with architects and contractors; roofing on historic buildings; historic windows; and masonry and pointing. The workshops include either visual presentations or hands-on demonstrations followed by a question-and-answer time.
