Passyunk Square Civic Association Presents
Good schools ⇔ Good neighborhood
Tuesday, April 3, 6:30pm
SPOAC – E. Passyunk and Dickinson
An Open Forum About The Accomplishments and Challenges of the Schools In Passyunk Square
We all know how important good schools are to keeping our neighborhood safe, vibrant and healthy. But what can we do to help, especially in this time of shrinking budgets and administrative upheaval?
Hear from a panel including:
Lisa Kaplan, Principal at Jackson Elementary
Mike Wang, Managing Director of the Philadelphia School Partnership
Christina Grimes, PSCA Education Committee
Tamar Oded, PhillyCORE Leaders
We’ll be brainstorming to determine ways that the Passyunk Square Civic Association can better support our schools and recruiting new members for our Education Committee.
Can’t find a sitter? Not a problem we will have someone on site to lend a hand.
Refreshments provided by Plenty and Belle Cakery.
