The Passyunk Square Civic Association invites the residents of the 1000 blocks of Greenwich, Cross, Tasker, Fernon and Mountain; the 1600 block of S. 11th; the 1500 and 1600 blocks of S. 10th; and anyone else who is interested to a meeting to review the application for a bar/restaurant on the first and second floors of 1537 S. 11th (N.E.C. 11th and Tasker). Representatives from the Passyunk Square Civic Association, the Passyunk Avenue Revitalization Corporation (owner of the building) and the prospective operator of the business will be on hand to answer questions and address concerns.
This meeting will take place AFTER the Passyunk Square Civic Association general membership meeting, which starts at 6:30pm at S.P.O.A.C. (E. Passyunk Ave and Dickinson St.) All are also invited to attend the 6:30pm meeting to find out other information about events and programs happening in the neighborhood. The meeting about 1537 S. 11th will START at 8:15pm after the general meeting has ended. The Zoning Board of Adjustment will hear this case at 2pm on Wednesday, June 6 at 1515 Arch Street on the 18th Floor.
As background information for the meeting, please be aware that the applicant has met twice with the Zoning Committee of the Passyunk Square Civic Association at its regular and appointed time of the second Tuesday of the month at 7pm at S.P.O.A.C.
