Tuesday, July 10 at 7PM at the South Philadelphia Older Adult Center (NW Corner of East Passyunk Avenue and Dickinson Street), the Zoning Committee of the Passyunk Square Civic Association is scheduled to hear the following cases:
1123 Titan St – For legalization of additions that exceed resulted in insufficient open area, rear yard area and rear setback.
1509-1513 E. Passyunk Ave - (a.k.a. Sweat Gym) Applicant is seeking legalization of the relocation of the chiropractic office from the second floor to the first floor and the addition of a tanning salon on the third floor.
1537 S. 11th St – Applicant is seeking permit for an eat-in restaurant that would seat approx. 35 people with no take-out service. Current zoning does not allow for proposed use.
1519 S. 7th St – Day care and after school program that includes tutoring services.
The PSCA Zoning Committee meetings are opportunities for neighbors to hear the details of zoning applications within our civic association boundaries. The Zoning Committee does not make final decisions on the applications, but it does send letters to the Philadelphia Zoning Board Administration.
