The Passyunk Square Civic Association has been approved as a Registered Community Organization (RCO) by the Philadelphia City Planning Commission.  The creation of RCO’s is part of the new zoning code taking effect on August 22nd and their purpose is to:

– Provide early notice to the community of cases that will go before the Zoning Board and large projects that will have an impact on the public realm
– Make the development process more predictable by codifying the role of community organizations

The Passyunk Square Zoning Committee meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 7PM at the South Philadelphia Older Adult Center (NW Corner of East Passyunk Avenue and Dickinson Street).  We post zoning cases to be heard and meeting results on www.passyunksquare.org, Facebook, and Twitter.

Please email zoning@passyunk.org with any zoning-related questions.
