The PSCA Zoning Committee reviewed the following cases at its September meeting. Results are below.
920 Washington Ave – Seeking legalization of parking spaces. Unanimous (7 votes) non-opposition with the following provisos: No chain link fence on 10th street; clean up property and provide daily clean up and maintenance, convey to “Cricket” store to remove all signage that is out of code.
1224 Alter St – seeking permit to erect 4 story attached structure: Owner and Architect agreed to set back the third floor front to maintain cornice line. Unanimous non-opposition with revised plans. Hearing date 10/4/12
1218 Gerrit St – seeking a third story addition to add three bedrooms. 5 votes non-opposition; 2 votes in opposition. Hearing date 9/19/12 2:00 p.m.
1544 S. 13th St – seeking permit for pilot house construction on roof deck of 3rd floor. (Pilot House constructed without permits so structure will be taken down and re-constructed.) 5 votes non-opposition, 2 votes opposition. Hearing date 10/4/12
1303 S. Broad St - This case will be heard at SBSNA’s meeting Tuesday, 9/18/12 at 7:00 at Methodist Hospital. Seeking the erection of decks at rear of 2nd and 3rd floors.
