The PSCA Zoning Committee reviewed the following cases at its October meeting. Results are below.
1601 South 10th Street – Originally scheduled as a presentation but ended up with a vote. Seeking to make changes in seating configuration between the dining room and bar but still up to 51 capacity and extending operating hours from 1:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. 7 days a week. 8 votes in non-opposition.
1412-14 South 7th Street – building 10 units with 8 parking spaces with no open space on two properties, will seek a continuance. Committee (and community) was not comfortable with that many units; would prefer 6 units with parking and some open space. Will re-present on November 13th at the next meeting.
1216 Reed Street – cancelled. May present at next month’s meeting.
Presentation only for Annunciation School @ 12th and Wharton Streets – Presentation of the developer and owners plan to convert Annunciation school into 48 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units with 37 parking spaces. Much community input. Both the community and committee feel it is too many units for the amount of provided parking spaces and that it will have a negative impact on the neighborhood. Committee suggested they come up with some other plan/design with fewer units. Presentation at zoning committee meeting TBA
