Fundraising12 Nov 2012 12:22 pm

In the next month we will be sending out letters for  our annual appeal to our membership.  Consider partnering with the Passyunk Square Civic Association by donating whatever you can to help us continue to provide vital services and programs for our community.  If your company does a matching funds program, please use this to match your generous donation or if your organization is part of the United Way Drive – the PSCA is now a listed organization that you can choose to direct your dollars to.  Whatever you can give, and in whatever way you choose, your donations will go toward programming and services with our greatest thanks and  appreciation.  If you have any questions about our annual appeal, or our sponsorship program, please contact Ilene Wilder at

Trash & Recycling12 Nov 2012 12:21 pm

Empty your closets, basements, and storage spaces of all your old and broken electronic devices and bring them over to the ACME parking lot at 10th and Reed Streets on Saturday, November 17 from 10am-2pm.  We have partnered with eForce Compliance, Philadelphia’s only R2 certified e-waste recycler, to give you another opportunity to responsibly recycle obsolete electronics.  All you have to do is drop off your e-waste items and eForce Compliance will do the rest!

Residents are encouraged to bring “anything with a plug.” All household electronics including computers, printers, microwaves, air-conditioners, metals and small appliances will be accepted.  Please visit for more information on accepted items. (NO SMOKE DETECTORS OR LARGE APPLIANCES will be accepted)
By attending our event, not only are you clearing the clutter out of your storage spaces, you are taking part in an effort to spread awareness and help protect our environment.  Please contact with any questions.
