We are pleased to announce that we have contracted with ABM to provide street cleaning services to the remaining sections of our neighborhood that aren’t currently covered by the Passyunk Avenue Revitalization Corporation’s (PARC) street cleaning. The contract went into effect 11/2/2012 so we are celebrating our one month anniversary! Gone are the days of the city cleaning our streets. PARC pays to clean the Avenue and surrounding areas and now thanks to our fundraising efforts and your generous contributions, we are able to pay to have the remainder of the streets in our neighborhood cleaned. We, as residents, must also do our part to help keep our neighborhood clean!

Details of the contract:

  • We have 2 dedicated employees working Tuesday and Friday from 8:30 to 12:30
  • Areas covered include 6th to 9th from Washington to Tasker, and 9th to Broad from Washington to Federal.
  • The remaining streets in the PSCA boundaries are covered by PARC.
  • Employees will wear vests with our PSCA logo.
  • Funding is for 9 months of service – winter months will not have service.

If you see workers out on your streets, please be sure to say hello!
