The PSCA Zoning Committee reviewed the following cases at its August meeting. Results are below.

1314 Annin Street:

Application is for the erection of a three (3) story attached structure (Maximum height not to exceet 38 feet) with cellar, rear deck at third floor, a roof deck above third floor, with a spiral stair access to roof, and rear fence 6 feet high for use as a single family dwelling.  Zoning refused because the proposed open area and rear yard depth is less than the required minimum.  7 votes non-opposition with the standard construction provisos that include hours of construction from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; no heavy equipment on weekends; daily sweeping and trash removal; and the property should have both front and rear lighting. Hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, August 21, 2013.

1153 S. 10th Street

The owner would like to consolidate a vacant lot he purchased which is behind his home.  The adjacent property he would like to attach is located at 1156 South Delhi Street.  The Delhi Street property is approximately 9 feet by 29 feet.  This case did not officially get a refusal but was denied by City Zoning and the Department of Licenses and Inspections.  He was told to appear before the PSCA Zoning Committee before appearing appealing his denial.  7 votes non-oppostion for the consolidation of the owners property with an adjacent lot behind his property.  Owner has no plans of building on the lot.

THE FOLLOWING CASE WILL BE HEARD AT THE SBSNA ZONING MEETING:
