Discounted Theatre Tickets for a Good Cause!

Get engaged and support your local community theatre AND the Columbus Square Park Revitalization project!

Theatre Exile is offering Passyunk Square neighbors a discount on tickets for the November 7 performance of Red Speedo by Lucas Hnath. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Columbus Square Park Revitalization project. It’s a win-win-win for everyone. Tickets are being offered for $30 (regularly $35) for the 8:00 pm performance on November 7. Please reference code: PARK when ordering tickets. If you are unable to make this date, please reference this code for any date you can attend. Visit to see a list of all the performance dates.

Red Speedo is a taut, darkly comic new play which explores the battle between building a family and the business of winning at any cost. Charles Isherwood of The New York Times writes, “[Lucas] Hnath is quickly emerging as one of the brightest new voices of his generation.” If you have not had the pleasure of seeing a Theatre Exile production, this is the time to do it!

Thanks to all who have donated time, supplies, and funding for the projects around Andrew Jackson School! Check out some pictures of volunteers in action. Principal Kaplan offers her thanks in this video. And if you’ve walked past the schoolyard recently, you know the kids are clearly enjoying the new playground!
