The deadline for our next neighborhood street tree planting is November 23. You can download a tree application form here.

We’ll be going door to door in certain blocks in the neighborhood and could use your help! If you’re interested encouraging your neighbors to plant a tree, if you know a neighbor who’d like a tree or want to suggest a block for volunteers to canvas, please contact

We’ll also be at the Fountain Farmers’ Market on Wednesday November 11th and 18th to answer questions and distribute applications. Stop by and say,”hello!”

Also, we’re always looking for tree tenders and others with skill in tree care to help our neighborhood trees look their best. East Passyunk Crossing Civic Association is also hosting a final pruning training session on November 7. If you’re interested in getting involved in our tree care efforts or want more information about the EPX pruning training, email us at or check our tree information page.

November is Passyunk Square Civic Association’s Annual Appeal month. By now you are all aware of the many wonderful services provided by PSCA such as street cleaning, trash and recycling events, block cleanups. In addition, many of you have attended our annual events such as the ever popular Home Tour and Art Auction and the numerous friend-raising and networking events held throughout the year. PSCA is all about building community. With a dedicated volunteer board and a robust volunteer base, we are excited about taking a leadership role in building our wonderful neighborhood. It takes money however to accomplish all these initiatives. Once a year we appeal to our neighbors and community to help us continue making Passyunk Square, or P’unk Square as we have become known, as one of the most desirable places to live in Philadelphia. From our amazing schools, Andrew Jackson – shout out to Principal Lisa Kaplan for her recent national honor, and Kirkbride Elementary to the Passyunk Gardens and our wonderful business sponsors, Passyunk Square is a great community in which to reside, raise your children and enjoy a unique and satisfying urban experience.

Please consider donating whatever you can to help us continue to make our civic association and therefore our neighborhood, a great place to live.  You can donate on line through PayPal at, or send a check payable to Passyunk Square Civic Association, to P.O.Box 18052, Philadelphia 19147. We are a listed organization on the annual United Way appeal if you contribute through your job. If your company has a matching donation program, we hope you will consider PSCA. TOGETHER WE DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
