The Passyunk Square Civic Association submitted a proposal for a Keep Philadelphia Beautiful Innovation & Impact Microgrant in the amount of $1,500, and we won approval for it!  The proposal was to purchase and distribute trash cans, brooms and dust pans for take-out businesses in our neighborhood in order to help reduce litter. PSCA needs a team to implement the Microgrant by: identifying community volunteers who will compile a list of local take-out businesses and organizing a mailer to them; doing direct outreach to those business owners and business organizations; distributing trash cans and other material; and following up with businesses and the checking the cleanliness of the area. We are looking for volunteers to help implement the Microgrant.  If you are interested in helping, please notify us at trash@passyunk.org.
