Help us plant more trees in South Philadelphia! This month there’s plenty of ways to get a tree yourself, or help us spread the word to other neighbors on your block.

If you’d like a Yard Tree:
Saturday, October 8, 11:00 am to 1:00 pm
East Passyunk Community Recreation Center
1025 Mifflin St
Passyunk Square, East Passyunk Crossing Civic Association and Leafy Streets are hosting the only yard tree give away in South Philly this season! Sign up to get a free yard tree. You’ll need to plant it yourself on private property and other conditions apply. For full details and to register visit: https://southphillygreen.ticketleap.com/yardtrees/! We only have 50 trees to give away and they tend to go quickly so sign up as soon as you can!
If you’d like a Street Tree:
The next deadline for the neighborhood street tree plantings is Friday, November 25 for trees to be planted in the Spring of 2017. If you’d like to chat about what planting a tree in front of your house entails – we’ll be at the Fountain Farmers Market every Wednesday in October from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm . Stop by and say hello! You can also download and application here and send it to beautification@passyunk.org
We’ll also be planting trees on Saturday, November 19, and going door to door on select block throughout October. We can always use more volunteers!
If you’d like to help!
Email us at beautification@passyunk.org. We could use help at all the events above.
