Given the effort to contain COVID-19 and recommendations yesterday from the city, PSCA is postponing our upcoming Art Auction scheduled for March 28th and our Planning Meeting scheduled for March 16th. We are working to determine the best way to proceed with the business of our regular Zoning and General meetings and will provide updates later this month (please note that ZBA is suspending cases for 2 weeks – more info here.)
For the Art Auction, we will certainly honor tickets purchased, provide refunds to anyone who seeks it, and honor transferred tickets. We hope our artists and institutions/organizations will remain with us as we identify a new date.
The Philly Clean-Up on April 4th and tree planting on April 25th have also been postponed. Tree in the Spring planted will be planted in the fall instead. We will continue to monitor recommendations on public gatherings and respond accordingly. Please check our website and social media channels for additional updates and changes. (paragraph updated 3/26/2020)
As we learn of any additional information or opportunities to be of service to our community members and local businesses, we will pass them on. For now, we encourage neighbors to refresh their commitment to good public health practice given the spread of the coronavirus and to take this very seriously, including new restrictions and recommendations for group gatherings.
If you are sure you are healthy, you might also consider calling elderly or otherwise vulnerable neighbors to offer to assist with grocery shopping or errands.
Neighbors can read the full city updates here and commonwealth updates here and/or sign up for city updates by texting COVIDPHL to 888-777.
