The 2016 Passyunk Square Civic Association Home Tour will take place on Saturday, October 29th from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm! The Home Tour is a self-guided ticketed event showcasing homes throughout the Passyunk Square neighborhood and is one of PSCA’s most successful and important fundraisers. The tour features homes in all stages of renovation, providing a chance to compare contractors, get ideas, and meet neighbors.

Tickets are $20* in advance (*There is a small convenience fee if you purchase online). Please note that you will not receive an actual ticket for this event. Your name will be added to our attendee list. If you prefer to purchase your ticket in advance with cash, please contact us at andrew@andrewstober.com to make arrangements.

All proceeds benefit the Passyunk Square Civic Association.

The election will be held at the Passyunk Square Civic Association General Membership meeting on May 3, 2016 from 6:30pm – 8:00pm. Candidates must meet the following requirements to be on the ballot.

  • The candidate must be an adult (at least 18 years of age) who:
    • Lives or owns property within the neighborhood, or
    • Is a business owner having a principal place of business within the neighborhood
  • The candidate can not have served 10 consecutive years on the Board of Directors immediately prior to this election unless the Board has granted by a ¾ majority vote to extend the term of the candidate

The completed nomination form below must be submitted no later than 11:59 pm, Sunday February 28, 2016. Candidates will receive email confirmation that their application was received within 24 hours of receipt. This form cannot be saved in progress so it is recommended that candidates answer the questions in a separate document then copy and past the text into the form. In addition to the nomination form, first-time candidates must submit proof that the he or she is a resident, property owner or business owner in the neighborhood. ONE of the following documents can be used as proof:

  • Voter registration card
  • Executed lease agreement (either for renter or business owner)
  • Deed
  • Valid driver’s license or state-issued ID with address within boundaries
  • Utility bill
  • Printout of OPA page (with a photo ID)
  • Business Privilege License (for business owner)

Candidates can bring one of the above documents to the March General Membership meeting on March 1, 2016 or the April General Membership meeting on April 5, 2016 and show it to an Election Committee member. Candidates can also email a copy to dan.pohlig@gmail.com OR a copy must be RECEIVED by mail/hand-deliver at 1510 S. 12th Street by 5:00pm, Tuesday, April 5, 2016.

Upon successful completion of this form and nomination at the April General Membership meeting to be a candidate for the Board, the Election Committee will request one headshot photo to be emailed to dan.pohlig@gmail.com or mailed/hand-delivered to 1510 S. 12th Street. Digital photos should be no less than 400px on their smaller dimension.

Please answer the following questions separately and within the character limits given. Your answers will be used in candidate information publications posted on passyunksquare.org, emailed to the membership and shared on the PSCA social media.
