<p>A big THANK YOU to all you came out and contributed to the Passyunk Square Civic Association’s 6th annual “Not Just a Plant Sale.” We are proud to announce over $2,100 was raised through the items sold that day, and 27 of your fellow neighbors volunteered to help. Those funds will help contribute towards the larger goals of continuing beautification efforts, improving local schools, and fighting litter in the neighborhood.</p>
<p>If you missed out on the event OR would still like to help your local civic association achieve its goals, YOU STILL CAN!!! We have two major fundraising efforts still going on:</p>
<p>1.      The PSCA’s Annual Coupon Book is now available and includes discounts at your favorite local merchants. This year, you can receive great deals at: 1540 Hardware, Anastasi Seafood Inc, August, Benna&#8217;s Café, Black N Brew, Café deLaos, Chickie&#8217;s Italian Deli, Cosmi&#8217;s Deli, DaVinci Ristorante, Devil&#8217;s Den, Iannelli&#8217;s Famous Brick Oven Bakery, J&amp;J Pizza, Lime Cleaners, Ricci&#8217;s Hoagies, RIM Café, Rita&#8217;s, SliCE, Sweat Fitness, Teri&#8217;s Deli, Urban Jungle.</p>
<ol></ol>
<p>An extra special thank you goes out to fitness works, inHabit, and Tenth Street Laundry, for their generous sponsorship for the printing and production costs. The coupon book is available for a $20 donation and is currently available via any PSCA board member, at the monthly meeting (tomorrow evening), or by contacting Pam Zenzola at <a href="mailto:pamzenzola@zenzolagroup.com">pamzenzola@zenzolagroup.com</a></p>
<p>2.     A new logo has been created for the Passyunk Square Civic Association and it is available on some great t-shirts for $15. Also available are P’unk Square hoodies for $30. Check out images of the new logo, t-shirts, and hoodies on our facebook page at <a href="http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=35365661727">http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=35365661727</a> PSCA apparel will be available for purchase at this Tuesday’s general meeting.</p>
<p>Last but not least…. join us at 6:30PM this Tuesday, June 1st at the South Philadelphia Older Adult Center (located at 10th and Dickinson) for the June General Meeting. This is the last general meeting before the summer break and topics include: the proposed murals in the neighborhood, a speaker from the UnLitter Us program, food co-op updates, a call for folks interested in becoming board members, and HAPPY HOUR FOLLOWING THE MEETING AT SOUTH PHILLY BAR &amp; GRILL! See you there!</p>
