This month’s meeting was a quick one given we only had one case and it was holiday season. The Zoning Committee’s recommendation is as follows for this month’s case:
1) 1169 East Passyunk Ave - Non-Opposition
The Applicant is seeking a variance to allow a C-2 commercial space on the first floor. The combining of properties and multi-family use on the upper floors had received a variance in the past.

November’s meeting was well-attended and we had a lot of constructive input from neighbors. The PSCA Zoning Committee’s recommendations to the ZBA are listed with the case address below.
1) 1424 S. 8th Street - Opposition
Applicant is seeking approval to construct a one story rear adition
2) 1214 Annin Street - non-opposition with the agreement of 5 apartments and additional provisos
Applicant is seeking to convert the building into 6 apts with 6 parking spaces
3) 1312-22 Federal Street - non-opposition, letter to be released once applicant files with the City
Applicant is the developer of the Rosa Court homes. Applicant is seeking approval for the addition of roof decks on the homes.
4) 1434 S. 8th Street - opposition
Applicant is seeking approval for onsite preparation of take out cold and hot food. Applicant is also seeking approval for a projecting sign.
