See the Kun-Yang Lin Dancers on March 23 for a discounted price!
A very special offer is available to residents of Passyunk Square to attend the upcoming shows of Kun-Yang Lin/Dancers — the internationally acclaimed, contemporary dance company whose creative home is right here at 1316 S. 9th St. The discount is for $4 off every regular-priced ticket ($27 to $35) for one of the shows on Saturday, March 23. You will need to act quickly, however; this offer expires March 8.
Philadelphia’s Kun-Yang Lin/Dancers presents the world premiere of One: Gifts from Afar, a dynamic meditation on the journey from external division to internal oneness. One is paired with the company’s acclaimed Mandala Project, a “masterwork of art, spirituality and stagecraft” (Philadelphia Inquirer). Kun-Yang Lin/Dancers offers contemporary Zen-inspired works of poetic sensibility that “create and inhabit worlds of their own.” (New York Times).
Following 4 straight years of sold-out performances and rave reviews, Kun-Yang Lin Dancers is moving to a larger venue, the Mandell Theater of Drexel University, at 33rd and Chestnut streets in Philadelphia for three shows:Â Friday, March 22 at 8pm; Saturday March 23 at 3pm and 8pm. These shows will sell-out so make your reservations now.
