Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities at Jackson

Looking for a way to help our neighborhood’s students and educators? Andrew Jackson Elementary School could use the support of:

1. Trained professionals who can help level readers and organize books in the library.
2. Dependable volunteers who are willing to partner with a particular teacher and volunteer in the classroom regularly (once a week for at least a couple of hours a week).
3. Trustworthy volunteers to staff the front desk.
4. Trained mental health professionals who are willing to help the counselor out regularly at least once a week).
5. Trained medical professionals who are willing to help the nurse out regularly (at least once a week).

6. People willing to help out at various afterschool programs regarding the roof deck garden, the forthcoming greenhouse, chess club, or who might be willing to run an afterschool homework club.

Email if you are able to assist with any of the needs above, or to request more information. Thank you for supporting our local schools!
