This month’s zoning meeting will occur on Tuesday, October 11. PSCA monthly zoning meetings occur on the second Tuesday of the month from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Saint Maron’s Maronite Church (1013 Ellsworth St).

This month’s zoning meeting has 6 cases:

 

  • 1120-1124 S. 12th St – The proposed use, warehouse, is prohibited in this zoning district (CMX-3)
  • 1212 Mildred S. Mildred St – The proposed use, household living, two family dwelling, is prohibited in this zoning district (RSA-5)
  • 1024 Federal St – Proposal to create 2 lots from one existing deeded lot with each lot to be used as single family household living (one to have parking space)
  • 1412 S 6th St – The proposed use, multi-family household living, is prohibited in this zoning district (CMX-1)
  • 1315 Federal St- Proposal for an acupuncture service/personal service on 1st floor with single family above (proposed use and proposed multi-main uses both prohibited in this zoning district – RSA-5)
  • 820 Earp St

 

The 2016 Passyunk Square Civic Association Home Tour will take place on Saturday, October 29th from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm! The Home Tour is a self-guided ticketed event showcasing homes throughout the Passyunk Square neighborhood and is one of PSCA’s most successful and important fundraisers. The tour features homes in all stages of renovation, providing a chance to compare contractors, get ideas, and meet neighbors.

Tickets are $20* in advance (*There is a small convenience fee if you purchase online). Please note that you will not receive an actual ticket for this event. Your name will be added to our attendee list. If you prefer to purchase your ticket in advance with cash, please contact us at andrew@andrewstober.com to make arrangements. All proceeds benefit the Passyunk Square Civic Association.

Passyunk Gardens is transitioning into fall. Broccolis and lettuces are in the ground and the September work day will be a week later than normal due to the holiday - Saturday, September 10, from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.
